Meet Ben Williams, Australian Fine Art Photographer, who draws inspiration from the silhouettes and shapes of the sky and sea.
In his premiere solo exhibition, Ben explores the "in-between" - the feeling of being lost or found in a moment, represented by the nexus of time and light as the sun meets the horizon.
You are invited to explore his latest body of work and enjoy a visual exposition of the shapes and colours of the "in-between".
I invite you to come and delve into my latest work based on my expression of photography that captures special moments in time, light and feelings. I explore the idea that when life is busy and stressful it is important to experience a sense of tranquillity or ‘Ataraxia’, which means a state of serene calmness.
One technique I often use in my work is defocus. This is so the viewer is invited to let the colours, tones and shapes speak to the soul, thus creating a state of serenity for them.
I am grateful for your time and my wish is that you lose or find yourself ‘in-between’
